Misa Spencer is an undergrad at Brooklyn College in New York.
She has lived in many places including Japan and various parts of the United States.
Her name is written using Japanese kanji characters, 美(mi) and 沙(sa).
美(mi) means “beauty,” while 沙(sa) means “sand.”
Beautiful sand? Actually, her grandmother named her with these characters so that she would grow up to find beauty in even a speck of sand.
Luckily, Misa grew up in respect to her name. She is creative rather than common; she is able to see things through different perspectives, and find beauty in unusual places.
Misa Spencer is an aspiring film editor/director and one day hopes to create short films that will inspire people in different ways.
She is currently working on her major in Film Production and a minor in Computer Programming.

Misa’s photos are taken with a standard digital camera (hence the quality). Imagine what she could do with a professional camera :-)
